     This past Friday, I recieved an email from a friend of mine, with the body of the email saying something along the line of "I sent you this to check out." I thought that it was some that he wanted me to see. Anyway when I opened it up (it had an attachment on it) It was a file from his computer. Attached to this file Was a computer virus called Sircam@mm. This is an email internet worm. One of those self sending viruses. Anyway when I opened the file my computer got infected with the worm and it sent out emails from my computer to other people.

     It pulls any email address off of either the address book or a page that is in the temporary internet file folder in the computer. It happened to pick the page from the temporary folder that had all of our high school classmates email address on it and sent the same internet worm to all of them. I did not relize this until I got an email from one Jake Heermans asking why I sent them this file. The funny thing is I never accually sent it to him. The worm did.

     And boy did it cause me a problem. I lost all the setting controls for my computer. And all the power saving setting. I could not control all that much this afternoon. So I did the next best thing. I crashed my system and reformatted the whole thing. Now I am back at square one. I thought that I would drop you a line and let you know about this whole thing. I just had to inform you about the virus in case you are haveing any problems. So that It can be fixed. I HATE VIRUSES. They are such a pain in the neck.

     If you could forward this to everyone on the website I would be very grateful. I don't want others to have the same problem as I did. But it might be to late, I don't know. God, I hope not.
