Karen Lane Mathews (Kelley)
Hmm! What did I do after graduation? I got grounded for coming in at 6 am and I was still under 18! Then a couple months later I went to the Academy of Business College and received an Associates Degree as a Legal Secretary. Then I worked for Dolly's Steamboat and modernized their reservation system. I realized I didn't like working for lawyers! Worked there for 2 yrs, then got a job as a paralegal at a law firm in Phoenix. Quit after a couple years and took the next year off. Went to WA, it rained, I moved back. Then I got a job at Sheakley Group. I'm their technical advisor/administrative assistant. I've been there for the last 2½ yrs. Oh-while I was working at Dolly's I married my first husband, Kelly. Yep-his name was Kelly (you can imagine the confusion on our invitations - Karen Kelley-Kelly Mathews). I was 18 - we had a house at the base of the mountain, off of Mountain View. So I was in Apache Junction until shortly after my 22nd birthday when we separated and later divorced. No kids. Then I married Michael Frizzell, we lived in Central Phoenix and we separated and later divorced. Still no kids. I live in NE Phoenix now and work in Central Phoenix. I look forward to seeing everyone again. I can't believe it's almost 10 years already!
